1970 Trans Am Firebird

HISTORY: Pontiac introduced an all new Firebird for 1970. The front bumper and grille were molded out of Endura rubber and were painted the same color as the car to give it a bumperless appearance. The sides sported rounded full wheel cut outs without any extra trim and the suspension was revised and a rear stabilizer bar was added. The top of the line performance wise was the new Trans Am, which was fitted with air dams and spoilers, special handling package, and a rear facing shaker hood scope to feed the engine.

The 1970 Trans Am seen here is a numbers matching, frame-off fully restored model. It is one of only 1,798 manual transmission Trans Ams made in 1970, one of only 3,196 total Trans Ams made that year!
