1970 Pontiac Trans Am HISTORY: The 1979 Pontiac Firebird received a new nose, with the four rectangular headlights all in their own bezels, and the split grille was moved below them. The rear end featured blackout panels disguising the taillights on Formula and Trans Am models. All models also received some revised graphics. A special silver 10th Anniversary edition Trans Am was sold in what would be the last year for the Pontiac 400 Engine.
Paint has been well protected through the years and shines much better than youd expect, due to the clear coating that was done by one of the prior owners. The same holds true for the seat covers as they have been dyed in order to bring back the original color that the natural aging process took from them. Check out the pictures as there are no cracks. Car appears to have been stored under a cover over the years and had some typical nut & bolt surface aging and some minor surface rust/discoloration under the hood and underneath. Both areas have been corrected & detailed and looks much better than youd expect after sitting up for such a long time. Check out the pictures! Car runs and drives excellent and has a near flawless paint, body, engine bay and interior finish. |
